Bazi Calculator is an AI-driven platform that brings the ancient Chinese art of Bazi — also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny— to an English-speaking audience. We combine a precision chart-generation engine with modern language models to deliver readings that are both faithful to classical theory and genuinely useful in everyday life.

What is Bazi?

Bazi (八字), literally “eight characters,” is a form of Chinese destiny analysis that dates back more than a thousand years. It translates the moment of your birth into four pillars — one each for the year, month, day, and hour — with each pillar containing two characters drawn from the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches. Together, those eight characters encode a complete snapshot of the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) at the instant you were born.

How our engine works

Our chart engine performs a true solar time correction, builds the four pillars using established lookup tables, and produces a structured snapshot of your chart. That snapshot is then handed to our reading layer, which interprets the relationships between stems, branches, and elements in plain English — no jargon required.
